Final Exam

What a long strange journey it has been.

Alas now we are through to other side.  Glad to be finished and glad to have learned a few things.

Good luck everyone

1st Exam

So apparently we need to make a post about the first exam (the one with our trainer).  It was good.  I feel I did well and I'm thankful that it's all over.

Exam

I survived the exam and am a better man for it.  Good luck to everyone and I hope we are successful.

How has this helped me

For me this was beneficial because in the past I used a computer based on the words it told me, but now that I have painstakingly scrutinized every icon at 200% magnification I am like a streamlined computer operating ninja that can turn on and turn off a computer, open a word document and download the latest Lady Gaga tune without even reading.  Onward to the exam.

I Passed! and other reflections... 2

I came, I saw, I learned, I conquered, and now I am a better person.  It was an exam, probably the most difficult Spanish exam I have ever taken minus those in high school, college and a personality quiz I once took on the internet.  Turns out my personality best suits me to be a mariachi singer.  It was about the different parts of the computer.  I relearned which one was the firefox icon.  I think it´s a good idea that we all learn this stuff so we can be on the same page.

So today I was walking through the sweltering downtown Santa Cruz, when I realized that despite the heat, despite the traffic, despite the constant stares I love this place and I feel at home here.

Reflection 1: What is this new-fangled thing??

So I have recently had the pleasure of learning all about the interwebs, including but not limited to gmail and blogger.com.  First I went to gmail.com and signed up to create a new email account.  I had to choose a name, but I was lucky because my parents had already done that for me.  Then I started a blog and that's where you've caught me.
